Project Overview
Penn East Federal Credit Union partnered with us to transform their digital presence. Our goal was to create a modern, user-friendly website that enhances member engagement and simplifies access to financial information. Through collaborative planning and innovative design, we delivered a comprehensive solution that meets the dynamic needs of Penn East FCU’s members.
The Challenge
The project involved creating a detailed wireframe to guide the design process, developing a visually cohesive and responsive design, and implementing an interactive mega menu for improved navigation. Additionally, dynamic rate carousels, an interactive loan calculator, and clear rate tables were introduced to aid financial decision-making. The site also featured dynamic photo albums to showcase community involvement, a dedicated news section for timely updates, and custom back-end editing capabilities to empower staff with easy content management.
Video Production
In collaboration with PennEast Federal Credit Union, our team at Media Components Digital Marketing Agency created a compelling promotional video to enhance their brand visibility and member engagement. The video was crafted to highlight PennEast FCU's commitment to providing exceptional financial services to its community.
Wireframe
The first deliverable was a comprehensive wireframe of the new site. The objective of this deliverable was to establish a clear and structured layout that visualized the website’s architecture.
This detailed wireframe served as a critical blueprint that guided the entire design and development process, ensuring that the site was built with a user-centric structure and facilitated smooth navigation.
Design
Next, a visually appealing and cohesive design was created to align with Penn East FCU’s brand. The objective here was to craft a modern and responsive design that would enhance the user experience. This design placed a strong emphasis on accessibility and ease of use across all devices, ensuring that users could seamlessly interact with the site whether they were on a desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

Interactive Mega Menu & Rate Carousel
To improve site navigation, an interactive mega menu was developed. The objective of this feature was to provide a comprehensive and intuitive menu system that allowed users to effortlessly explore various sections of the site. The outcome was a mega menu that significantly enhanced the overall user experience by making navigation simple and intuitive.
Dynamic rate carousels were introduced to highlight current interest rates for various financial products. The objective was to present these rates in a visually engaging manner. As a result, users could quickly and easily see up-to-date rates, aiding them in making informed financial decisions promptly.

Loan Calculator & Rate Tables
An interactive loan calculator was added to the site with the objective of providing users a tool to calculate loan payments and affordability. This feature empowered users by enabling them to estimate their monthly payments and total loan costs, thereby fostering financial literacy and planning.
To present current interest rates clearly and in an organized manner, easy-to-read rate tables were developed. The objective of these tables was to offer detailed information on different loan and savings products. The outcome was enhanced transparency and clarity, allowing users to understand the financial products available to them easily.
